REV. SAMUEL MODUPE IDOWU FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Do you know any young, smart, and intelligent mind seeking admission into any Nigerian university? This is to inform you that the Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu Foundation is currently receiving applications for full scholarships from secondary (high) school leavers for the 2023/24 session.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in Nigeria with the primary objective of promoting education and drawing the youths to God. Reverend Idowu was the founder and first president of Divine Love Gospel Church and former chairman of various religious organizations, including CAN, PFN, OGN etc. He was a lover of quality education and served God wholeheartedly. Hence, this foundation scholarship programme is in furtherance of his service to man and to God.

2023 NIGERIA MTN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Are you a Nigerian seeking for financial assistance in studying for a degree program in Nigeria? If yes, here is one for you. 

MTN Scholarships, a part of our Youth Development Cause, provides an annual platform for recognizing and rewarding dedicated, high performing students across Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. We have curated three scholarship categories to cater to the diverse needs of our exceptional scholars.

The MTN Scholarship Scheme is awarding scholarship opportunities to qualified high performing students who are interested in pursuing a degree program in Nigeria. This scholarship is made up of the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (MTN SSBS).

The application closes June 18th, 2023
Scholarship Benefit: N200,000 annually till graduation.

INSTITUTION OF STUDY 
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) is open to 300 level students studying Science & Technology related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to 200 & 300 level Blind students studying any course in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

COURSE OF STUDY 
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS):

The application is open to students who have completed their second semester 200 level examinations going to 300 level and students currently in their 300 level as we understand that the academic calendar in not aligned across all public tertiary institutions.

 LEVEL OF STUDY 
The MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS):
The application is open to 200 & 300 level blind students in any Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). However, for blind students studying Law, which is a 5 years course, only 300 level students can apply for the MTN Scholarship.

Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS):

STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)
STEM Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.
Direct Entry level STEM students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program and must have secured admission into 300 level/3rd year in a Public University.

MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS):
Blind Students in the Universities or Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5
Blind Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.
